due to the larger axial neck, heating difficulty, and heating time is long, and the temperature is not easy to be controlled uniformly, straightening should be paid attention to the five following points:
1、 the pressured straightening force should not be so large, to prevent the spindle from cracking on the hidden trouble flaws.
2、 when bending quantity is larger, straightening should be done by several times.
3、 correcting numerical should be properly over the shaft bending value to eliminate the influence of rebound deformation when the straightening force is removed from the shaft.
4、when in straightening, straightening force should be kept for a period of time. at the same time, using small plumb bob to knock the axial plane gently and these operations can relieve residual stress and prevent deformation occur ing when the straightening force is removed.
5、 in the straightening process, shaft bending value should be measured continually until complying with the standards. when the shaft is φ200-300, the shaft bending value should not be over 0.06mm. for the straightened shaft, bending value should not be over 0.1-0.15 mm.
